FAQs

A&G Repair Service

  • What appliances do you fix?

Our repair services cover a wide range of major household appliances. This includes dishwashers, dryers, freezers, ovens and ranges, refrigerators, stoves, and washing machines.
  • Do you charge to come out to my house?

Yes, we do charge for house calls. Our service fee covers the cost of the technician's visit to your home.
  • Are your employees vetted?

Yes, all of our technicians undergo thorough background checks as part of our commitment to customer safety and service quality.
  • Can you provide a quote over the phone?

We can share rough estimates, but exact pricing requires a proper diagnosis. Since appliance problems often have multiple possible causes, an in-home inspection is the best way to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Are your repairs covered by a guarantee?

Most trusted technicians include a warranty on both parts and labor, typically lasting 30–90 days. Certain parts may also carry longer manufacturer warranties.
  • How long does a repair usually take?

Many repairs can be finished on the same day. If parts need to be ordered, the process generally takes 2–5 business days, depending on availability.
  • Should I repair or replace my appliance?

We’ll guide you based on the appliance’s age, repair costs, and overall condition. A common guideline is: if the repair costs exceed 50% of the price of a new appliance, replacement may be the better option.
  • What appliance problems should I watch for?

Schedule service if you notice unusual noises, leaks, burning odors, poor heating or cooling, extended cycles, or error codes.
  • Do I need to be at home during the repair?

Yes, an adult must be present to provide access and review the repair details. Some companies also send text alerts when the technician is on the way.
